Upgrade to Custom Shades
Brackets Custom Window Coverings offers a versatile selection of styles so you can find the best fit for your specific goals. Many of these styles are compatible with PowerView Automation for app, voice, and schedule-based control. Our team can walk you through all product types, explain their benefits, and answer any questions.
Cellular Shades: This shade’s honeycomb construction traps air in pockets, making it the most energy-efficient shade style available for Iowa's temperature swings.
Roman Shades: Materials gather into soft folds when raised, giving you a tailored look. We offer fabrics across opacity levels.
Roller Shades: These shades offer a clean, modern look in light-filtering or room-darkening options.
Woven Wood Shades: Natural materials will add earthy texture to your space while letting warm light filter in.
Sheer and Vertical Shades: Vertical panels help to manage glare and provide privacy in rooms with large windows or sliding doors without fully blocking your view.
Explore Draperies and Shutters
Our custom draperies are the perfect choice to bring tailored elegance to your living space. Brackets Custom Window Coverings offers pleated, non-pleated, and ripplefold styles from Hunter Douglas and Carole Fabrics. Hardware and finishes are designed to fit cohesively with your existing room design. Lining options include room-darkening, premium, and interlining.
For classic style and simple light control, we install premium shutters. Real wood, vinyl, or composite louvers add structure to windows in various sizes and can be customized to control light and airflow. We can fit your shutters to specialty-shaped openings, including arches, patio doors, and French doors.
Window Blind Options
Window blinds offer reliable light control and durability. Designs are available in wood and alternative wood options, including EverWood, if you enjoy the look of real wood but need better moisture resistance. We customize vertical blinds for wide window spans and sliding doors.
Smart Window Treatments With PowerView Automation
Motorized window treatments combine modern convenience with beautiful design. PowerView Automation is available for shades, draperies, and select shutters, with control via the PowerView app, remote, or smart home voice assistants. Setting your window coverings on an automated schedule lets you adjust their opening and closing times based on the time of day for increased energy efficiency and privacy. Automation also adds safety benefits by making hard-to-reach windows easier to operate and eliminating exposed cords.
Custom Outdoor Shade Solutions
Brackets Custom Window Coverings also offers outdoor shade solutions with standard or retractable awnings, tailored to your patio and available in a variety of fabric and frame materials. To enhance the comfort of your outdoor space, you can install motorized sun shades or screens. These effectively block out insects and UV rays so you can enjoy the outdoors more often.
